I am currently studying English with a minor in history; however, I’m still undecided on what I want to do for my future career. One of my hobbies include collecting and pressing flowers/plants to make into bookmarks for my friends and family. I come from a small town of only 999 citizens called Bronte. For my freshman year of college I attended Angelo State University, which is only 30 minutes away from my hometown and is affiliated with Tech. A pivotal moment in my Christian walk is when I decided to transfer to Texas Tech University my sophomore year. A deciding factor in that decision was meeting members and staff of Christians at Tech while attending my friend’s baptism. I had been praying for friends that would help me grow in my spiritual walk with God and He answered that by showing me what Christians at Tech had to offer. I moved to Lubbock where Christians at Tech provided a community of God fearing people who care about my relationship with Him and helped me grow as a believer. I have met some of the greatest people and have gained the best of friends with the same priorities and goals as me.
