Hey everyone! My name is Andrew, and I am a University Studies major from Lindale, TX. Some of my favorite hobbies are writing, going to Bible Studies, backpacking, and drinking coffee.
When was the first time you connected with the club? What was your initial reaction?
I connected with the club during Welcome Week my freshman year. I was impressed by everyone’s genuine love and care for one another as well as a profound joy in the Lord.
What exactly did you like most about Christians at Tech that led you to join the club over a number of other things? What surprised you the most or made you the happiest about joining C@T?
The more time I spent with Christians at Tech, the more I witnessed firsthand how great the Lord is and how other activities carried less eternal significance or weight in my life.
What are three benefits you’ve experienced as a result of joining C@T?
1) Spiritual maturity
2) Lasting community
3) Laughter
How did/does knowing Christ and pursuing Him with others in the club help you?
The Christian life is a marathon and can’t be fully realized without a strong band of brothers and sisters in Christ around you. The friendships I have formed during my college years have strengthened me and emboldened me to live out my relationship with Christ beyond college.
If you were to recommend C@T to your best friend (or any interested student), what would you say?
My experience with C@T changed my life, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
